All my life, I have worked hard and stayed dedicated to family and friends to improve our lives. I have made decisions, such as quitting my job at the Harling’s and moving to the country, which have changed my own life and gives me freedom and independence. However, I was abandoned at the altar, not by my own choice. Larry Donovan deserted me, so I made it my goal to raise our child the way I wanted it to be raised, and nothing less. Therefore, although my pregnancy and broken engagement seemed shameful, I moved to the countryside to a farm and married Anton Cuzak. I gave my child, although not married to its father, a free and independent life that it deserved. My lifestyle choice may not have been mainstream, but I created the best opportunity for myself and my family with the situation I was in. -Antonia

I do not understand how Antonia could have become such a disappointment. She was the girl I thought would go places in her life, but instead she became a sight of pity. How could she have got so involved with a cheap man? If anyone was going to became the disappointment I thought for sure it would be Lena. She was always getting in trouble and up to no good. Instead Lena created her own life and business. Antonia is the one that made a mess of her life. She should have known better. But she did make something of her life eventually, and married a good man and raised a family. I do forgive her for her mistakes. -Jim

Jim, I respect your view and thank you for forgiving me, however, I did not choose to be left at the alter. I wanted to marry and have children with Mr. Donovan, but those plans did not turn out in my favor. I am sorry for becoming a disappointment but I did not plan for my life to turn out this way. -Antonia
